Sara Berman's Closet
For Sara Berman’s Closet, I worked with artists Alex Kalman and Maira Kalman to recreate the meticulously organized closet of Maira’s mother. I built the closet in pieces so it could be easily taken apart and sent to exhibition spaces around the world.

Richard Artschwager: Six in Four
In 2012, Evan Hughes and I began working with Richard Artschwager to develop "Six in Four", a permanent installation in the new Whitney Museum. While Richard died in early 2013, Evan and I were able to continue the project, which opened to the public in 2015. We appear around the five minute mark in the above documentary.

Astor Playa: Burning Man 2007
In 2007 I signed on as the designer and builder for an installation at the Burning Man festival in Nevada. Based on the central elements of Astor Place in New York City, it included life size representations of the iconic subway entrance and the “Alamo” sculpture. In the above photo, I am walking by the subway entrance structure, tagged heavily by participants in the festival. We built the pieces in my Brooklyn backyard, took them apart, and shipped them out to the desert.

StreetFilms made a short documentary about the project at Burning Man.
